ABOUT ME

About Me
Thank you for visiting my website.

From Mortgages to the Mountains
I spent most of my working life in the mortgage industry, but after being made redundant, I took it as an opportunity to change direction and follow my passion for sport and fitness. I trained as a ski instructor and spent three seasons working as a ski host in the French Alps, achieving my British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) Level 1 and 2 qualifications.

A Love of Running
After raising my son and continuing to live an active lifestyle, I returned to running — a sport I’ve loved for over a decade. I began racing competitively and have since completed events of all distances, from 5Ks to marathons.
One of my proudest achievements came at the ASICS Manchester Marathon in 2019 — my second marathon — where I achieved both a Good For Age qualifying time for the London Marathon and my first Boston Marathon qualifying time. That race was the real turning point that sparked my marathon journey and everything that followed.

Six World Marathon Majors
In 2021, I set out to complete all six of the World Marathon Majors, achieving that dream in just 2.5 years: London (2021), Chicago (2022), Berlin (2023), New York (2023), Tokyo (2024), and Boston (2024). Boston was my Six Star Finisher race — an unforgettable milestone — and just six days later, I ran London again, earning another Boston qualifying time.
Since then, I’ve kept the tradition going, completing the Boston and London Marathons back-to-back in 2025, and I’m already entered to do the double again in April 2026 — three consecutive years of running two world-class marathons just six days apart. I must be a little mad (in the best way!).

My Path to Sports Massage
As a keen runner, skier, and fitness enthusiast, I’ve experienced my fair share of niggles and injuries. After discovering the benefits of sports therapy firsthand, I became fascinated by how the body works — how it moves, adapts, and recovers.
This led me to train as a Sports Massage Therapist, qualifying in 2018 with a Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy. Since then, I’ve continued to expand my knowledge and skills to ensure my clients receive the highest standard of treatment. I take pride in delivering effective, evidence-based massage therapy that relieves pain, restores movement, and supports long-term performance.

A New Chapter
In August 2025, I began a new chapter as a Podiatry Apprentice, working towards a BSc in Podiatry and combining my love for anatomy, movement, and rehabilitation in a new and rewarding way. The feet are the foundation of the body, and this degree allows me to expand my understanding of how working from the feet up can support posture, movement, and overall function — essentially influencing the whole body.
While this means my clinic hours are now more limited, I continue to offer sports and soft tissue therapy in the Poole area, with appointments available on selected evenings and alternate weekends.
My loyal clients will always be prioritised, but I’m happy to welcome new clients where space allows. I’m passionate about helping runners, athletes, and anyone who wants to move and feel better — whether that’s recovering from injury, improving performance, or simply enjoying a pain-free lifestyle.
